Lithuania moved up one place to 53rd in the rankings and now they are at their best ever ranking following a Croatia 27-9 victory over Malta. Malta lost 0,36 points and felt from 53rd place to 55th place.
Hungary kept up the pressure on Lithuania at the top with a hardfought 5-3 win over Norway in Szekesfehervar. They move above Senegal into 67th in the rankings and lie two points behind Lithuania in the Division 3B standings. The sides meet on the 25 May 2008 in a match that looks likely to decide who gets promoted to Division 3A.
